Local MP, Caroline Spelman, has urged local residents to submit their views on the draft Hampton-In-Arden ‘Neighbourhood Plan’, which will be part of the adopted local plan for Solihull that shapes the future development of the borough.
Speaking about the consultation, Caroline commented: ‘I welcome this opportunity for local residents to have their say on these plans and the future their local community.
‘I would urge all residents to take part in the consultation process for the Hampton-in-Arden neighbourhood plan’ by Friday 30th September’.
Solihull Council have said: ‘The Plan covers the period from 2015 to 2028 and includes a vision and challenges for the parish and the objectives of the plan as well as policies on housing, local economy, transport, the environment and community’.
The consultation document can be viewed on the Council’s website, or at Hampton in Arden library or at Solihull Connect walk in centre in ‘The Core’ adjacent Solihull town centre library and off Theatre Square.
Any representation may include a request to be notified of the local planning authority’s decision in regard to the NDP.
