Elmdon Cllr Martin McCarthy supports residents in their fight to end the blight of ‘Off Road’ illegal bikes

Elmdon Ward Councillor, Martin McCarthy, is delighted to see that the recent police execution of warrants for ‘off road’ bikes has resulted in several bikes being seized in Solihull in a major crackdown.

Martin said; “Following many complaints from residents about this inconsiderate and dangerous riding behaviour, I am delighted to see that firm action is being taken by our local police teams.  It seems the price we have to pay to ensure peaceful parks and open spaces is continued vigilance in and around our community, so I urge anyone who witnesses further instances of illegal ‘off road’ bikers or any anti-social behaviour for that matter, to contact the police on 0800 555 111 in the first instance.  Alternatively, residents can get in touch with me directly via email : martin.mccarthy@solihull.gov.uk or by telephoning the local Conservative office on 0121 705 2788.
