Everything in politics starts with an idea.
Sometimes it’s a burning injustice that’s got to be fixed. Sometimes it's an inspirational vision of how to make the world a better place.
A single idea can build new societies, new ways of living that are better than before. An inspiring idea will outlast elections, Parliaments and Prime Ministers, leap national borders and change entire countries.
The Conservative Policy Forum is here to find the world-changing, era-defining ideas and shape the policies of tomorrow.

The Conservative Policy Forum enables members and supporters of the Party to contribute directly to the Party’s policy-making.
At the last general election, four-out-of-seven commitments in the published manifesto could be traced back to ideas proposed by CPF groups; and almost half of the proposals in the CPF Members’ Manifesto were reflected in the published manifesto. The input of CPF groups, which meet locally and online, is increasingly valued and sought by the PM’s Policy Unit, as well as by cabinet ministers and CCHQ. The CPF often alerts our leaders to concerns from the frontline of our communities before they are detected by pollsters or journalists. The presence of an active CPF group is also a good indicator of associations that effectively engage with voters beyond their core membership.
The CPF offers members a variety of direct opportunities to explain their views to ministers and their advisers, including our traditional national policy consultations, topical snap polls on current policy, a members’ policy suggestion hub online, regular video conferences with government ministers and roundtable discussions at 10 Downing Street.
So, make sure your voice is heard and get involved today – create a profile in our Members’ Hub and join your local association discussion group! Get in tough with locally on 0121 705 2788/0121 711 2955 or email: info@sbconservatives.co.uk
