Dear Resident
I grew up in the north of the borough and this has shaped the person I have become, which is why I want to represent the residents of Kingshurst and Fordbridge. I own a small transport company, and I believe the drive for this was instilled in me from my upbringing in the local area, knowing the value of a hard day’s work and succeeding through your own initiative. I want to bring that work ethic to you as your Councillor.
Kingshurst and Fordbridge has great potential. The area was chosen to be home to one of the first of our new family hubs, offering family, social and health services support to the most vulnerable. We are seeing real investment being put into the new village centre and surrounding areas which will build a great long-term future for the area and the people who call it home.
I want to work with colleagues and residents to make sure this area looks its best. I will achieve this by refreshing street furniture and improving and protecting our parks and green spaces. I have been quick to report any road defects such as potholes to the Council to ensure smooth journeys for road users and ensuring the verges are protected from irresponsible parking. I have seen the positive work Cllr David Cole has delivered for our area. I will work with David, our MP Saqib Bhatti, council officers and local community groups to ensure Kingshurst and Fordbridge is at the front of the queue for continued investment.
If like me, you want to see Kinghurst and Fordbridge looking its best and being the best advert for the north of the borough, then please support me on election day. I promise to work tirelessly to deliver on your behalf and ask you to support me to help make it a reality.
