As Chair of Kingshurst Parish Council, and working closely with Fordbridge Town Council, I have a strong insight into the needs of our communities. It was my privilege to serve you as Borough Councillor, and I would like to do so once more. I have been a champion of regeneration in the ward, supporting the new village centre, the delivery of new schools, roads, homes and park improvements.

I grew up in the north of the borough and this has shaped the person I have become, which is why I want to represent the residents of Kingshurst and Fordbridge. I own a small transport company, and I believe the drive for this was instilled in me from my upbringing in the local area, knowing the value of a hard day’s work and succeeding through your own initiative. I want to bring that work ethic to you as your Councillor.
The council had paused the Local Plan examination process, because it had not accepted the requirement of the Inspectorate to identify another 1700 units from Green Belt.
The previous Labour Police and Crime Commissioner (PCC) first announced in 2018 that Solihull Police Station would close. The current Labour PCC then reconfirmed this intention following his 2021 estates review, and the station set to close sometime at or after autumn 2025.
Elmdon ward Councillor Yvonne Clements praises the Borough's success in retaining its prestigious 16 Green Flags awarded to our parks, cemeteries and green spaces. The Green Flag parks include the outstanding Elmdon Park and Damson Lane Park.
Kingshurst and North Solihull residents are asked to take part in a survey about proposed enhancements to Kingshurst Park - providing better facilities for the local community, improving health and wellbeing and boosting biodiversity.
